Earn it.

The Contributor Track
how the sliding scale works

The subsidy is structural, not theoretical.

Patron-tier members directly fund Contributor-Track access. This is the math, in the open. It's how we make sure the door stays open.

One Patron
$350/month

A Patron member's cash contribution at this tier funds structural subsidy of Contributor access.

≈ 1 Contributor / month
20 hrs/mo

Equivalent to one full Creator-tier Contributor — trading time for full studio + facility access.

"Give what you can. Contribute how you can." — but as an operating model, not a slogan. Higher-tier members fund the access of contributors. Both lanes are full members of the community.

the contributor track

Trade hours for access. Cash optional.

The Contributor Track is the operational soul of this place. It isn't volunteering. It isn't a scholarship. It's a real, parallel lane to paid membership, by design — funded by Patron-tier members.

Ten hours a month earns Explorer-tier access. Twenty earns Creator-tier — full studios, fabrication, wellness. Hours go into structured work that the community actually needs: farm tasks, hospitality, facility upkeep, programming support.

Contributors apply through the same intake as members, with a short conversation about which kinds of work fit them. Hours are tracked simply and transparently.

the steward path

For people who want to live here.

Stewards are long-stay members who help hold the culture of the place. Farm steward, facilities steward, programming steward, welcoming steward. Real responsibility in exchange for residency.

Step 01

Apply

A short form. Tell us who you are, what you do, and which kind of steward work feels right.

Step 02

Interview

A real conversation — values fit, what you bring, what kind of role we're imagining. Both sides decide.

Step 03

Assessment

An internal review of role fit, capacity, and rhythm. Followed by an offer if it's right on both sides.

Sample steward roles include farm steward (animals, crops, greenhouse), facilities steward (maintenance, repairs, build-out), programming steward (workshops, events, retreats), and welcoming steward (orientation, hosting, member care). Compensation is real — accommodation, food, stipend, and access — calibrated to role and hours.

questions

The honest answers.

Yes. No alcohol. No substances. Anywhere on the property. This isn't restrictive — it's the point. The interactions stay sharper, the mornings are better, and the people who self-select for it are the people we want here. It's the more interesting environment, not the more limited one.

Community membership is 18+ (insurance and liability reasons). Day visits for under-18s are welcome with a guardian, including birthday parties at the petting farm and family events. School groups and youth groups can book separately.

Both, yes — with their caretaker, and with respect for hazard zones (fabrication, mechanic shop, archery, climbing). When you want to be hands-free, supervised children's space and doggy daycare are available as add-ons. Book in advance.

Real. Structurally so. The Contributor Track is the lane — ten or twenty hours of structured work each month earns the same access as a paying member. Patron-tier members fund it. The diagram showing the math is on this page, not buried in a policy doc. If the funding ratio gets out of whack, the math gets adjusted in the open.

We're pre-launch — funding, land, advisory, and waitlist are the current phase. Phase 1 (basic camping, kitchen, fire circle, garden, communal gathering) opens once land is secured and initial buildout is complete. Phase 2 and 3 expand from there. Founding members get the most accurate timeline updates as they happen.

No. Day passes and overnight stays are open to non-members — members just get priority booking and discounted rates. You don't have to commit to anything to try the place.

Yes. Most zones have Wi-Fi. There's a coworking loft on the campus for focused work. Permanent quiet zones (the library, hammock areas, nature paths) have intentional digital-rest norms, but the rest of the property supports remote work just fine.

On-site farm-to-table food — clean, organic, ethically sourced. Grass-fed beef and pasture-raised chicken & eggs where possible. Dietary restrictions and lifestyles accommodated. Guests can also bring their own meals; communal kitchen access for cooking your own.
